I am Sheifali Aggarwal — architect, founder of AGA:SHE, and someone who has spent her career believing that the spaces we live in shape us far more than we realise.
Growing up in South Delhi gave me an instinct for premium living — not just how spaces look, but how they quietly feel.
Architecture Answered Both
My father is a civil engineer. I was always more academically inclined - the kind of person who needed a framework for everything. But I was also deeply creative. When it came to choosing a direction for my career, I faced the classic tension: logic or creativity?
It was the only field that demanded precision and imagination in equal measure - and I knew, from the moment I chose it, that I'd be able to do it for decades without losing interest.
I completed my Bachelor's in Architecture from Sushant School of Art & Architecture, Gurgaon. I was a scholar - detail-oriented, thorough, unwilling to cut corners. Those same qualities became the foundation of how I practice.
Real-World Discipline
Before starting my own studio, I trained under leading architects across Delhi, gaining the real-world discipline no degree can teach.
I learned how projects move from concept to construction, the difference between beautiful drawings and buildable architecture, and how thoughtful planning prevents costly mistakes long before they happen.
